The first one stood for Murder. Death. Kill., But I don't think the second one had the subtitle. (but it still means the same thing)

I actually preferred the first one, but both are awesome. They were made by the EWJ team, right? Terrific action games from that era, I played them primarily on my PC, although I had the PSX and Dreamcast ports of parts 1 and 2 respectively.

I don't understand what the big deal is with Mortal Kombat it's basically a more violent Street Fighter. People complain that there's a lot of senseless violence in videogames today but Mortal Kombat pretty much got all it's popularity as being a more violent alternative to SF.

Also I really don't feel like playing Portal 2.

I always thought handheld games were the most engrossing.
