If I had any clue how to make those "non-copied verified, watch once and erase" dvd's I'd send one to you. Posting any of my sets online isn't a good idea.

Smile: Left over fireworks tonight, followed by smore's near the fire pit. I know, I might as well put on my Weblo uniform but I enjoy a nice Summer breeze.

Frown: Level 8-1 of SMB.3 on a 60" tv stretched from edge to edge. I asked if my friend would change his settings to 4:3, but he said "it squishes it". Really?

We were playing passy with the game and it took dozens of attempts until I finally got us to 8-2, which I finished, died in 8-3 (curse those music note boxes), and then back to the beginning of the level.

I've beaten SMB.3 without much challenge (Thanks for the P-wings Princess) more times than I can count (assuming I can count up to twenty three) but with that screen ratio I was terrible. For the first time in years I wanted to wring the controller like a towel. I even copped out and said, "It's not me man, it's not me! It's your dumb huge television!".

Yes I played that card, and after playing SMB.3 on my CRT, I stand by my outburst.

I'll break both of them.

Louis CK and Zack Galifinaashgsguaus have some of the best heckler responses.

I've only beat Mario 3 once, but TBT I haven't played it since i was a kid. The time I did beat it back then though, I had to use a cloud... thing... to 'skip' one of the final levels.

Playing each and every level is the way to go.

I can't remember exactly which level it was, but I think it was one of the maze castles.

Every time I see someone stretch out a 4:3 signal on a widescreen TV it makes me sad.

:D : It's "convert videos" day for work.

:( : It's "convert videos" day for work.

Obviously it's not hard, just time consuming. And I can't convert more than one video at a time or do much else while it's converting, so I've got a lot of free time on my hands. *twiddles thumbs*

On the plus side, I was spliceing videos earlier, cutting up the segments into their own little stand alone vids. I gotta fast forward a lot and whenever someone is talking it speeds up the audio and makes everyone sound like chipmunks. For some reason, every time I hear that, it reduces me to giggles

It sounds silly because it is, but the words "I'll give you one of my CRT's for God's sake" left my lips.

Smile: I'm holding an impromptu Korean BBQ. At around 1pm I received a call from a friend asking if we'd like to have a postponed/extra 7/4th party. I'm partied out, but I'm always up for seeing friends.

When I taught summer school last summer, I brought in a vinyl record player (a book we read referenced one repeatedly, and the kids had no idea what it was).

To the kids, the funniest thing in the world was to play 33 speed records on 45 or 78. They just couldn't get over it.
