What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Ok

Guess I shouldn't complain about fighting .NET, SQL, and broken XP in Hungarian all day today as it hasn't flashed a gun at me. :?

Well, I'm in the middle of getting an auto loan so I can finally officially buy my car from my father. He needs to buy a larger pickup to be able to haul a loaded horse trailer (his current truck isn't big enough), but he has several loans currently for other things and is concerned about his credit, and the car was always intended to be mine anyway, so I don't mind picking it up. Plus it will help establish a credit history for me, it's through a company I like and use for auto inurance (USAA), and it will lower the monthly payments (which I take care of anyway). It adds about a year and a half onto the payments in terms of length, but I can pay a bit extra each month and bring that down.

Can't go wrong with USAA, they've never let me down either. Easily the cheapest car insurance, too.

Smile: about to have a five day vacation. First since college.

Smiler: Addicted to Tokyo Xrteme Racer for the DC. The first non kart racing game I have ever liked.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Super Mario War is fun c:
Any other real good wii homebrew (non emulator)? Doesn't have to be on Homebrew Browser, prefer that it isn't on it actually.

:) / :( Slow, kinda rainy day today at the park. It was slow again, so while I didn't have a ton of work to do, I still didn't have a consistent amount of work. It mostly dragged on whenever I didn't have a consistent amount of work, instead just staying busy for the sake of staying busy. But it wasn't blistering hot out, so there was that.

My wife has "gamed" about 40 hours in her entire life.

30 of those hours have been the past week.

She is absolutely hooked on Alchemy on her Kindle Fire.

I'm not sure how I feel about this yet...this past week, I feel like i'm always waiting for her to come to dinner, get into bed, get in the car, help the kids, etc. Bizarro World.
