I'm definitely waiting for it to go on sale. I'm hopeful Steam will have a sale this summer. I don't have the cash for it now, and I only ever pre-order physical console games. The only PC game I've ever pre-ordered was Civilization: Beyond Earth and Starships (which I very quickly regretted given how "meh" both games are).

I was just reading The Cutting Room Floor's entry about The Legend of Zelda and came across this interesting tidbit...

In both the original FDS version and the Japanese re-release on cartridge, Pols Voice is invulnerable to arrows, but instead they're extra-vulnerable to the Famicom's built-in microphone feature. As the NES' hardware (in both the original 1985 release and 1993 redesign) lacked this feature, it was instead given a weakness to arrows. Besides their unique weakness between versions, they can also be defeated the hard way with the sword in all versions of the game.

It's worth noting that support for the Famicom microphone feature remains in the NES version, as using an emulator with the microphone ability enabled will also work.

That's fascinating. I may try the NES cart on my Famicom to see if this does indeed work.

Eh, he'll make it. I've only bought a few. I have a Kirby, Link, and Yarn Yoshi. I'm in no hurry on any of them, because I feel that it's a market that's doomed to cave in a bit in the future.

Is Megaman Legends really only ~15 hours long according to How Long to Beat?

I guess X Command Mission isn't too long either.

Yeah, that sounds about right. It's a little longer for MML2, but not a whole lot.
