What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Did either of you sign the Uwe Boll petition?

I wish there was a petition to sign to keep Michael Bay from making movies.

I didnt sign a petition. If I'm flipping thru channels and a Boll movie is on, I'll watch that shit. I think they're entertainig (oh... wait a minute... it a movie? And it entertains me? Hmm. Almost like entertainment. Regardless of high art vs low art and all that nonsense).

People are obviously passionate about his movies. Whether you like his movies or not, the guy has struck a chord with the movie community.

Uwe Boll is not a favorite of mine. I can however make it all the way through most of his movies. Ulli Lommel on the other hand cranks out such cinematic shit that he should buy stock in toilet paper. The petition should be to have him stop making and starring in movies.

agreed. I'd take Boll over Lommel any day of the week.

by the way if there's any Sam Raimi fans/collectors here, I have a Region 0 DVD of Crime Wave (I think it's a Korean import) that I'd be willing to trade.

Was it a petition to stop Boll from making movies? Wow, that's impressive. I think I have to admit that I watch Boll movies all the way - or most of the way through - because I can't take my eyes away. It's like a car wreck. Considering how many people probably do the same, he actually has a lot of viewers.
