Not really, those Hagane carts are repros.
Re: SNESdrunk reviews
Dang I didn't notice that part....that is really stupid people are still hanging onto that blockbuster rumor though even though it's obviously not true.

Yeah, it does suck. Still, it's a pretty rare game regardless. I know I've never seen a copy in the wild. It'd still be over $100, I figure. Probably Demon's Crest territory.

Maybe, but it's no Fun 'n Games. That game is legitimately rare, so I'm not surprised how much it goes for.

Forgotten Worlds is a pretty weird game, sort of a spiritual successor to Section Z or Side Arms. They really liked doing multi-direction shooters.
Capcom's early library on the Genesis was great. Mercs, Chiki Chiki Boys, Strider, Ghouls 'N Ghosts. Part of this was due to the fact that Sega ported the games themselves. They even started work on Street Fighter II. The prototype ROM is out there and in a lot of ways it looked and played better than the Special Championship Edition that Capcom ported themselves so it's a shame they didn't just let Sega do it.

If you like Gegege, the PS1 (Gegege no Kitarou: Gyakushuu! Youma Daichisen) and DS (Gegege no Kitarou: Youkai Daigekisen) sequels are super rad.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Are they as weird as the SFC games?

This is my favorite series of yours. Maybe you could do the original Famicom sometime? There's quite a treasure trove of English friendly Famicom games.
I enjoyed the Great Battle love at the start. It's such an underrated series that I think gets ignored do to featuring licensed properties. I always like seeing it get more exposure.
Popeye: Tales of the Sea Hag is also pretty good but it could do without the annoying board game aspect that does nothing except pad its length.

We actually got a Gegege game in the US, it was translated as Ninja Kid which is funny because it has nothing to do with ninjas. That's also a pretty bizarre game. Gegege is a really famous classic manga in Japan but it's not too surprising it didn't really catch on here because... well... you saw it.
I never heard of Genocide 2, I'm going to check that one out.
Edo no Kiba was a game recommended to me when I asked someone for Genesis-like SNES action games and it's alright by yeah, it gets boring really fast.
