It's the same thing for both systems though I do not know if the friend aspect is used on the PSP. If and when you get a PS3, you just enter your information from the PSP in and voila.

All PSN ID's are the same. Your PSP one can be used on the PS3 as well.

I think so, yes. Best version of SSF2 I have ever seen.
