Ended up finding a copy of jewel case version of resident evil. Man the acting is very bad on that. Played some gekioh last night before my friends came over. I like this shmup. Game is getting up there in price so I'm glad I got it at a cheap price

The voice acting and script are absolute genius.

Finding the Keepers Diary is one of the coolest moments in gaming. Ever.

Been a while but just wanted say I'm four games away from getting the fighters edge collection I need
Street fighter collection
Street fighter ex plus a
Star gladiator
Street fighter alpha 2
Also need rival schools manual.
But other than that got darkstalkers in the other day. It's crazy how fast that plays and marvel super heroes and Xmen Cota is so slow. Darkstalkers is a pretty good game. Also managed to get very cheap the misprint version of ff7.

Now everyone here should know I'm not a rpg fan at all so why have ff7 in my library? Well for my perspective it's like peanut butter and jelly you can't have one without the other.
As a ps1 gamer or fan or whatnot you can't have a ps1 without tekken, final fantasy7, crash, Spyro, metal gear, or resident evil. You need at least one of each franchise also ridge racer. It's like you can't Nintendo without Mario bros.

I just finished Dino Crisis about a week and a half back and wanted to talk about it. The game started out strong for me when I played it. I was impressed with the graphics especially full 3-D for the PS1 and great atmosphere. Sound and music was good but the sound for the voice acting was almost drowned out by the music and it was hard to hear at times. Also the voice acting was that classic; god awful Capcom pick a random person off the street to voice our character. I did however like Regina as a female lead but wish they did more with her in terms of story cause the games is very light on it does not give much explanation with all the events and Dr. Kirk.

The Dinosaurs were a actually threat in the game at all times and most time I would try to avoid them instead of fighting them. I liked how you was never safe even after clearing out of a room with them in it, because they could come back in that area later on. Although there was not much in the way of boss fight's there were a few that was good like the T-Rex.

The one thing that I did not like was the whole card key system and the puzzles and that's where I started to lost my interest to go on. The puzzles were not fun and to me tedious as well. That coupled with the fact that the story does not help drive you along made it for me in the end a chore to get though it.

All in all the games is a 7/10 for me. It does somethings right and other things wrong but I think for a select few they will enjoy the game and what it has to offer. I am looking to playing the second one which I have and have heard it is a more focused game and places more direction in terms of action and shooting. So I am hoping that I will enjoy it more cause it sounds more to my liking. The concept of Resident evil mixed with dinosaurs is a cool concept and it works at times but other times it doesn't. But by all means give it a shot and I think it will appeal to a lot of survival horror fans of the genre.

Vant3c if you've never played Dino Crisis 2, give it a try. I personally found Dino Crisis 2 to be a far more entertaining game than Dino Crisis.

I'm looking forward to eventually getting around to playing DC2. I played the first game on my Dreamcast, and I've got the second one for PS1, but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

I will play it next most likely after I am done with Paper Mario TYD on the Cube. You know I wished that Dino Crisis could get a reboot of sorts on the current gen systems. Can you imagine how amazing a game that would be? It will never happen but it would be cool to see.
