The horror of having to play it for more than 5 minutes is enough.

If we're gonna do a game in the GnG series, we should do Ghouls n Ghosts. It's way better and it's on more platforms to boot.

Bone - throw out some 2nd gen horror titles for us to mull!

I have never played a Fatal Frame, and so I am trying to rally some support for it. I would prefer the first one just because it's way less expensive.

I really don't like Daytona myself. I had it and sold it. It LOOKED like the kind of arcadey racer I'd enjoy (I love Sega Rally Championship and Manx TT Superbike for Saturn) but I hated the controls so much.

The key to Daytona games is to use the diagonals for steering. I don't know why they decided to do it this way, but by holding up and using the diagonals for turning makes things incredibly easier, especially in the sequels. Plus...HORSE...plus..DANCING JEFFREY...plus...GAY BAR!

5. QUESTION Pokemon red/blue/yellow (RPG)

I really like this idea. I'm in the camp that I have never played a single Pokemon game (save for a few rounds of Pokemon Stadium on the N64 out of curiosity). I'm not sold on whether I'll enjoy it mind, but I think the idea is great. Pokemon had a profound effect on gaming and even on the culture at large (it certainly played a part in the popularization and 'mainstreaming' of anime in the west)

7. QUESTION (horror) Alone In The Dark? Shadowgate?

I may be in the minority here but I've played through Shadowgate several times, and never once have I considered it a horror title. It's definitely possible that I just didn't approach it that way though! All the same, if we're looking for straight-up horror I'd be much more in favor of Alone In The Dark. I've always been curious about that one, and have never played it.

9. QUESTION Call Of Duty/Medal Of Honor (FPS)

I'm really digging the idea of a double feature on this one. Plop 'em both into June in honor of D-Day and we'd have ourselves a winner. I actually think that MOH was more popular in the U.S. than it's been given credit for. Remember that Steven Spielberg was involved in the the production of this game (storywise), being that he was coming fresh off the heels of Saving Private Ryan. The music is also to die for. I've never played the first Call of Duty but it's in my library so I'm also more than down for that one.

10. QUESTION (RPG) Knights Of The Old Republic? Elder Scrolls III Morrowind?

Dudes, this is the Year of Star Wars©. Sure it's the beginning of a new trilogy with followup movies to come, but it's the beginning of a new trilogy. I say, we'd be mad not to capitalize on Star Wars madness. They're both awesome games, but c'mon it's gotta be KOTOR this year.

11. QUESTION (racing) Micro Machines? Daytona USA?

I'd love for this to be Daytona, but what kind of platforms are we talking here? I'm only aware of Dreamcast and Supermodel (buggy emulator but plays this game OK)

I've never played a Harvest Moon game, however unlike Pokemon I'd probably sit this one out. I can certainly understand it's inclusion though.

2600 Halloween. I actually played a legit version of it once. It's terrible.
