Those are inflammatory comments that add nothing productive to the discussion. I might get banned for losing my cool and calling you guys "fucking nimrods", while those people won't even get a warning for intentionally trolling me.

I wouldn't take it personally, these guys are just taking the piss out of you. You may be getting a little too upset about the X-2 thing, but that's because we are all passionate about gaming here and we want what we think is right. I honestly would prefer a physical version of X-2 mainly because I worry about the longevity of my digital purchases once the servers for these games have been turned down. But, that's why I'm getting the PS3 version as well.

Hey I was trying to have civil discourse. Those other comments may not have really been trolling either. You did say you wanted to sway others to not buy the game. Could then your comments also conceivably spur people to do the opposite in defense of SE and to support the game being available on the Vita? I think those comments were reactive to what you were trying to do.

I've had the game pre-ordered for months now and no amount of raging by some random guy on the internet is going to stop me from buying it - fans of the game and the series overall will likely agree. Like you already said, you don't have to buy it, so why not just leave it at that?

I was never raging. I calmly listed factual reasons why I thought the US version was inferior, and why I was not happy about the situation.

My comment (and I feel I can safely assume Erik's as well) was posted in a half-jokingly manner. (Although I found out the vita version has some art cards and I might actually re-pre-order ; I'm such a sucker for preorder swag). Anyway-
I didn't post to get a rise out of anyone. People here are usually pretty cool and can take jokes and gentle nudge-in-the-rib type comments. I don't believe there are any regular users on the site that post in any inflammatory or troll-ish manner. None of that really happens here, thank goodness. Sure there are some heated debates every now and then but even those will mostly resolve themselves... Well... I like to think they resolve themselves . I avoid the bigger conflicts.
