I meant to say the Genesis bomb is GREAT -- whole screen compared to the dinky bomb on the arcade -- reminiscent of Sky Shark. I misread it - I thought we were just going to have developers narrowed by Feb.brunoafh wrote:Check the OP, we have a voting system going on. Hopefully everything will be set in stone before Feb.mjmjr25 wrote:We should lay out the entire schedule for the year now though - to enable us to acquire physical console or arcade copies - this mame is a pain in the balls. Twice i've had good runs freeze up on me :/
FYI - shmups STGT 12' should begin late July.

I read your post right - my post was prob the confusing one. I was thinking outloud, as in, "Yeah, I thought the GEN bomb was better than this shit."ExedExes wrote:I meant to say the Genesis bomb is GREAT -- whole screen compared to the dinky bomb on the arcade -- reminiscent of Sky Shark. Re: Shmup of the Month Club (TRUXTON) (OP updated 1/1)
I'm using MAMEUI32 0.141 (1 "u" version short of the core self-destruct with the slow loading and the memory leaks, etc.) and a Microsoft Sidewinder PnP gamepad.mjmjr25 wrote:My stick has a turbo option - but it only works on the default weapon, it makes the green/blue guns shoot about 1/2" on screen, then reload (looks like a stun gun) - thus, useless. So, it looks like a real button masher.
I'm playing on shmupmame btw.

I tried it on hard and it seems to be the same, but your credits are limited to 3. Easy is the same thing too I think but you have unlimited credits.

Case in point

Explain how I did BETTER on Hard! Plus, it's there for the proof

Truxton - Genesis - Normal
Best run so far: 152,390

Truxton reminds me a lot of Astro Warrior. Once you die you might as well hit 'reset' because you've lost all your power-ups and there's no going back; unless you're a shooter-god or something.
