The only codes I still have are for Kid Icarus. And dang it if those O's and 0's aren't indecipherable.

If it makes you feel any better, I started looking for glitches/secret areas before you posted the clue that made it fairly obvious. However, having never played Borderlands, it was semi-difficult to come up with anything.Hobie-wan wrote: The frustration on that one was all me. I thought some people would know or be able to deduce it per the notes I made on that other post. Obviously some things are easier to rationalize when you already know the answer.
In short, just because there weren't a lot of guesses doesn't mean that the question was a "failure".
Keep at it. I love the questions where there are clues within the clues. Makes it more intense than just recognizing a game you've played before and saying the game's name.

I opened a copy of Resident Evil 3 for Dreamcast that my friend gave me and he had tons of secrets/notes written on a folded piece of paper behind the disc. Some of my PS1 games that I haven't opened in a long time probably have similar sheets or note cards in them. I'm positive Silent Hill does.
If it's any consolation Hobie, I'm having a blast! I love it when the screens gets changed up or a curve ball is thrown. For me at least, the beauty of doing this is learning and discovering things while researching what the image is from/about. I find myself sifting through and giving closer looks at games I might not have given a second glance towards.

I bought my copy of Alex Kidd in Miracle World used CIB off Half.com, and it came with all the patterns for the bosses written on the back cover of the manual. Very useful.Czernobog wrote:I opened a copy of Resident Evil 3 for Dreamcast that my friend gave me and he had tons of secrets/notes written on a folded piece of paper behind the disc. All righty. Everybody just stay on their side of the seat then back there.

dont mean to take up extra space in the thread, but it reminds me -- I LOVE when you buy a used game in there's actual handwritten notes in the NOTES section of the manual!
