tbh I think I have had a ton more fun building this from scratch than I would have buying a cab and trying to convert it.

What did you need the router for? I'd like to get one myself.

Is it bad that I read that as Dsh putting networking equipment in his cab?fvgazi wrote:What did you need the router for? I'd like to get one myself.

That reminds me, it might not be a bad idea to toss in a wireless card or something in your cab, that way you can add roms/adjust cfg files/etc from another computer.

The router was to cut a groove all around the border of the 3/4" ply for T-molding.MrPopo wrote:Is it bad that I read that as Dsh putting networking equipment in his cab?fvgazi wrote:What did you need the router for? I'd like to get one myself.
The nettop PC I am using has built in wireless, so the PC will be connected to the web in case I want to troll the forums in between sessions of ESP Ra.De.

The last of the paint dried overnight, so I was able to move it inside today and just had to hook it up and play a little. I obviously still need to attach the door (inside is the PS2, DC, and S-Video A/V switcher) and the white t-molding should be here later today or tomorrow. I am doubtful that the marquee will arrive before the meet and I still haven't decided on side art.
In any case, it is really getting close now

EDIT: This isn't the room will it will be living permanently, but it will be here for the meet.

Ooh, swanky looking. That room looks a little fancy for game nerd shenanigans though.
