All the single gamers, all the single gamers.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Yep, it sure it. Taking a massive risk (50% chance of losing half of everything you own) with no benefit is foolish to begin with.
Your statistical argument is flawed. Say you're right and 50% of marriages end in divorce. That does not mean that each marriage has a 50% chance of ending in divorce.

But anyway, in my argument a guy gets married and does not throw his money away (get divorced).

I get benefits out of my marriage that I would not get if I did not marry my wife, for what it's worth.

Seriously. In some 3rd world countries, just having to spend time in the same room with Inazuma is a common punishment for shop lifting. You can only imagine the crime you'd have to commit to deserve marriage to the guy.
And because I'm such an asshole, marriage laws are fair. Perfect logic. Good thing I'm an asshole or else you guys would risk losing your money with marriage.

You should be thankful that I remain an asshole because the second I turn nice, marriage suddenly becomes a bad idea.

I do find it funny how the guy telling people to stop jumping off the cliff is viewed as the bad guy. Meanwhile the guy pushing them off the cliff is seen as a nice guy. Pretty interesting way of thinking.

I'll grant you one thing, Inazuma: As marriages often result in the birth of children and you are an example of a child that was given birth - yeah, there would be some advantages if everyone stopped getting married. Fair enough?

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

What Flake said was kind of dickish, but he didn't say this. You're putting words into his mouth. It's easy to knock down stupid arguments nobody is making.

Oh, I'm sorry. My math was wrong. Each marriage does not have a 50% chance of ending in divorce. What I should have said was that 50% of marriages have a 0% chance of ending in divorce and the other 50% of marriages have a 100% chance of ending in divorce.

As for how to tell what side your marriage is on, just use your time machine and check before you get married. How silly of me. I totally forgot that time machines existed.

I bet your parents prayed for one every day until you moved out of their house. Assuming you ever did, of course.

Last I checked, marriage and having children were not the same thing.
