Maybe the secret reveal at E3 is that the console was actually a partnership between Sega and Nintendo. And the launch title will be a Camelot-developed Shining Force IV.

And then we get a REAL crossover game with Mario and Sonic. Ah, we can dream.

Guys, please, be careful.

Talk like this leads to premature ejaculation. As Sonic Sez: "That's no good!".

I just hope this new console has a classic controller (as default) and is backwards compatible with GameCube and Wii games.

Cafe will play Wii games but we don't know if it will also play Gamecube games. I know the Wii basically is a Gamecube in a different shell, so it's certainly very possible. However, Nintendo would save money by not having 4 Gamecube controller ports and 2 Gamecube memory card slots on the Cafe.

good point. I hadn't thought about the hardware cost of the GCN support.

Anything out there right now is still rumor. Nintendo could come out at E3 and say it is not backwards compatible. I mean it is not unheard of in the industry. Why make it backwards compatible, when you can sell the same games a second time with new controls?

Or they could come out and say that it has a breakout box with 4 cube controller ports on it, or 4 snes. It is highly unlikely, but like I said, everything is a rumor.
