Yeah, I had a little lag. Nothing like choppy frame rate, but a few times where the sound is off or an enemy is facing the wrong way.

I definitely wasn't at the top of my game tonight. Oh well. Win some, lose some.

No kidding. I just got 19 kills playing with sevin though. Sweet revenge baby.

Because the Pro is out of my price range and will be for a while.
Imho, the remote + chuck controls are greatly surpassed by the Classic Controller Pro. I made it to level 8 or 9 using the mote 'n chuck, and really never got a feel for it. I reluctantly continued practicing with it, thinking I just needed to "warm up" to this new play style, and also because nearly all the reviews I read online insisted that the mote+chuck had a clear advantage in competitive multiplayer. After converting to the CCP my K/D ratio, accuracy, and wins are now closer to my Goldeneye 64 stats...which is great :lol: I only went negative once last night playing with Ziggy and sevin. So yeah, doing MUCH better, which in turn is alot more fun!

One of my earlier posts for adopting the mote/chuck combo:
s1mplehumar wrote:I'm curious what you guys prefer for a primary controller. I've tried in vain to effectively use the Mote+Chuck combo, but end up getting destroyed more often than not unless I use the Classic Controller Pro. I know the mote+chuck configuration has definite advantages, and after trying close to a dozen different tweaked settings my patience is running thin. games in I default back to the Classic Controller Pro again.

Also, does anyone else feel like the switch from hip shots to ADS feels so freaking wonky?

My current Mote/Chuck settings (taken from a guy on a Ninty forum):

Go to the Wii's controller settings on the GoldenEye menu, and click Customize.

Go into cursor settings and do the following;

Set the deadzone to 15 above, 40 across.

Set the maximum turn to 100 (which is default)

Set the horizontal speed to 21

Set the verticle speed to 8

Set the cursor sensitivity to 20

Now go into the ADS options, and do the following;

Set the deadzone to 17 above, 17 across.

Set the maximum turn to 90 above, 90 across.

Set the horizontal speed to 15

Set the verticle speed to 10

Set the cursor sensitivity to MAXIMUM.

Now exit those options, and set the camera to; Wii Remote Turning, and turn 'Look' OFF.

Have the Auto re-centre and Turn while cursor off-screen settings ON.

I have to vouch for the wiimote+chuk combo. I was kicking pretty good with the defaults but after using the above settings, hot damn, my game improved a lot! It is really good too for aiming - head shot :D

Will do! If anyone is wondering why I haven't been on for the past few days, I've been playing black ops on Wii. Definitely a step up comparing to previous installments on Wii.

I thought about checking it out, but then remembered all the frustration I've had over the past few years toward kids that wont shut up about the new CoD game. Sounds cool, and I have a blast with GoldenEye so why not check it out? But I almost wanna boycott it. :lol:

I have been using the custom mote-chuck that was suggested. I will replay the first level (the dam) with my classic controller to see which I like better... so far I'm cool with the mot-chuck.
The only problem is that I suck at the game, well I suck at any FPS. I never liked the genre other than Goldeneye 64 with friends, I always lost but had fun. Now that I'm older and have friends to play with I decided to try again on my Wii.

Ok, I think I added everyone in this thread as a friend, but there was an error when I tried to disconnect from WiFi... so I guess we will see if the invites held or not.

I may be online tonight but tomorrow I'm getting U-Verse and losing the crappy DSL so I may avoid online tonight because of the crappy laggy and keep dropping DSL I currently have.
