Well damn. I guess I'm glad I hadn't found it at a tempting price then.
Yeah - definitely suggest people shouldn't spend much on it. I was just happy to find it while I was out on a lunch break. I'm working towards getting a complete video pinball collection for all the systems I own. I only have a few more to go.

Still, I really did like the Soccer table. It had nice flow. The Mech or Robot themed table was awful. The slingshots feed off of each other until the ball drains straight down the middle (STDM.)
Systems: Pong, Odyssey2, Atari 2600, NES, CDX, SNES, N64, Saturn, DC, PS1, PS2, PS3, Xbox, GCN, Wii, Xbox360, OUYA
Handhelds: GB, GBC, GBA, DS lite, DSi, Virtual Boy (<< is that even a portable?)
EM Pinballs: Bally Dixieland, Gottlieb Flying Carpet
SS Pinball: GTB Circus, GTB Count-Down, GTB Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Stern Lectronamo, Stern Galaxy, Bally Black Pyramid

Epic thread bump for pinball justice!

So, tell me. How's the 3DS port of Williams Pinball? I have been playing Pokemon Pinball a lot these days and I'm digging other pinballs to play.

It's kind of a shame, because I never bothered to play any pinballs and apparently there were some very good ones around where I lived. Oh, well.

I'd love to hear about the 3DS port of the Williams collection as well.. I've been eyeing it up for a bit, but not ready to sink money into just any game as of right now...

That said - man, I miss Pokemon Pinball. I really hope Nintendo puts a new one our for Black/White.

Is Pinball Dreams for SNES any good? How about KISS Pinball on PS1?

It isn't very good. The same company made Balls of Steel for PC which is great, but Kiss Pinball is like they made it on PC and then someone really screwed up porting it.

Pinball Dreams is pretty decent on the Amiga and PC (although the "sequel" Pinball Fantasies is quite a bit better), so I expect it to not be bad on the SNES port.

I was going to go to my favorite sandwich shop, San Francisco Deli, for a Reuben the other night. They were closed, so I went to Subarama instead...and they were out of corned beef, figures.

When I was standing there looking at the menu, deciding what I wanted instead, I looked to my right. And lo and behold, in front of my very eyes, was a Pin-Bot pinball machine! I couldn't believe it! But the thing was unplugged? WHY?!! I asked the guy about it and he said it still works, but the Twin Cobras arcade machine next to it didn't so they decided to unplug them both...REALLY?!! I tried to explain to him how cool this machine was and that it needs to be played, and he just looked at me like some crazy bum...admittedly I probably sounded like a 7-year old gushing about Power Rangers. But seriously, how could something that cool be there, and they just leave it unplugged?

If you played Pinball Dreams on the PC, it's just as good. The SNES port led me to get a special CD package that had Pinball Dreams 1 & 2.

Fantasies and Illusions are good too. Pinball Fantasies also received a SNES port.

Heck, those 21st Century Pinball games rock. Plus they were developed by DICE who may be familiar to you on the Battlefield series :)

That's very common. And very stupid too!

I rememeber a lasertag place that had Pump it Up in it, always unplugged. I asked them to turn it on so I could play but they were like "nah, it takes a while (10 seconds?) to boot" so they never turned it own even if you asked.

They closed three months later, what a surprise...
