I you have something tsa officials haven't seen already, then they won't know what to do with it, and if you do have something they have seen before then they won't pay any attention to it.

Who gives a damn. A pecker is a pecker. A vagina is a vagina. They all look the same. Just take the ride and be happy that somebody wants to touch yours.
I just want to separate the cereal from the mouse mask.

Do you have a wife? Kids? Even if you don't care, do you want to stand there while some stranger scruitinizes them on a screen or molests them? What about your mother or a sister?

Meh. My Ricola cough drops set off the metal detector/scanner thingy at the airport several times. Literally had nothing in my pockets except them, take'm out and voila, all's good. Shows how good this "technology" works.
I propose traveling naked though I will require a blankey on the plane. That and a lot of alcohol post haste to make everyone look attractive or at least stomachable. Oh and with the blankeys we can have a toga party on the plane. Weeeeeee~

 Airline charges extra for the blanket. You're on your own to go blind from the scenery.

Speaking of fun even with just the metal detectors, I used to wear a heavy ball-chain around my neck that was short like a choker and clearly visible above a t-shirt neckline. I never took it off for years and it slipped my mind to remove it at the airport once many years ago. The agent watched me empty my pockets and remove the smaller ball chain from my right wrist and didn't say a thing as I walked forward. Of course I set it off and had to take off the ball chain and try again. I felt dumb, but couldn't believe they didn't say anything to remind me.

It is good for you that you don't mind. I don't think I've been saying that you or anyone else *should* mind, so I'd appreciate it if you and others would stop implicitly telling me (and others) I *should not* mind.

The TSA people are professionals (some of them) and are being paid to see people naked and to touch people's genitals. If they don't like it they can quit their job and find a new one, there are certainly reasonable alternatives. I am not a professional stripper and I'm certainly not being paid for being seen naked or touched (nor am I considering that as a career). There is no reasonable alternative for traveling into the U.S. from Europe. I *do* mind. You don't, fine for you. Some people even have extremely valid reasons for minding, but they shouldn't even need to justify it.

The few that are posting here now have recuperated from the big T-Day dinner.

Local airport here reported smooth in the news. Either the protest not as severe or maybe extra agents on hand speeded the process.
