^Here's a good way.
Whether you do it or not is up to you though. I only wanted to play the Catherine demo and I didn't feel like waiting for a U.S. demo release. Aaaaand the demo is now available on the North American XBox Live so unless there's a lot of stuff you're missing that's Japan-only I wouldn't do it.

Its the first game I've pre-ordered since Baten Kaitos Eternal Wings came out and will be the first title I've purchased at full price since I bought some games with my Wii at launch.noiseredux wrote:I pre-ordered it the week I got my PS3!
Really looking forward to picking it up. Unfortunately I just got a big load of extra work dumped on me at work to be done by the 31st and then am going camping with the family unit for a week starting right away in august so I wont have much time to put into it until I get back.
Once I'm back though I'll be plowing through it in full force.

Heh, this is my 2nd preorder, and the first was Pokemon Silver... So its been a while.
The bonus content for this game is outrageous.

Re: New Atlus game "Catherine"
I just wanted to ask around, but how about we all say our reasons for being excited for the game. It seems that an inordinate number of people are getting excited for it, which is absolutely fantastic, but looking at my own reasons for preordering the game, I honestly can't place why I am so excited for this game to be released. Sure, it has a great story, presentation, and premise, but there just seems to be something intangibly enthralling about it. Ideas?

I like that it will not take 100 hours to beat like the last few Persona games. Obviously play time can vary greatly with Persona, but I quit Persona 3 at over 80 hours in and seemingly still much more to go.

But I love pouring hours upon hours upon hours into an RPG! It makes the eventual victory all the more satisfying, and besides, if you are really enjoying the game, any extra content is appreciated.ZenErik wrote:I like that it will not take 100 hours to beat like the last few Persona games. ...But it seems kind of unfair to compare Catherine to Persona, since they are completely different genres.
