the one game I can think of that got passwords right was Daedelian Opus. it used simple one-syllable words to save your progress. KING or GOLD, etc. Jeez, I still have notebook pages devoted to my Mega Man GB grid-pattern saves.
I'm just waiting for a huge expose on the Final Fantasy Legend series. I want to see if you'll come up with any trivia or insights about those games that I've never heard of.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Hey, you should add that all legit Nintendo carts will have numbers/letters stamped physically into the label. Every one I have is 2 digits. Sometimes it is really obvious, sometimes faint. But unless the label is really beat up you should be able to see it. If you'll remember I brought that up with my Rocky & Pocky with Becky fiasco.
Nice post about the original Gameboy launch titles. I have the Nintendo Power issue that reveals the original Gameboy with those titles. If you have any interest in me sending scans of it so you can write about it, let me know and I can email them over. Good article.
Oh, and another idea for an article. How about one on storing and displaying your Gameboy game collection. I have a rather ingenious way that I use that I would be happy to share.
