So, who's buying it first day? There's not a preorder bonus, so I don't think I'll be doing that, but I'm sure I'll be able to pick one up day one just fine.

Right here.

Also, that box art has allayed my fears. I'm feeling good about buying only the US version now. Didn't have the money for the import, and was only really considering it because I was sure the western box art would be a travesty.

If this includes all the stuff that was in the European version of Ico, then I just may indeed buy this on day one. That would make this the first COMPLETE and FAITHFUL version of Ico to be released in the US

I'm pretty sure there were some sources a while back saying the US will have all the European extras. A little lazy right now, but if you search real quick I'm pretty sure you can find it.

Oh wow I didn't even realize a release date had been announced, much less that it was coming out at the end of the month.

If I can afford it I might have to pick that up myself.

geez so many things I'm planning to buy soon...

I preordered it just because I wasn't sure if I would have the money to buy it when it comes out which I'm glad I did because I probably will be broke and really need something to play.

uhhhh I can't wait. I've been itching to play a new game besides a fighter. But I'm goin' to play the hell out of SotC and experience Ico for the first time.

So, if I picked up a PS3 that was backwards compatable, would it be better to get the SotC/Ico combo, or the individual PS2 games. Note I'm in the U.S. if that matters.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

You can't go wrong either way, but the HD versions will likely offer a better visual and sonic experience.
