What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

What was your wife's reaction? (You did tell her, didn't you???)

Also...did you have the baby with you at the time? If so, that was a bold woman...
I did not "tell" the wife. When I got home she asked "did anyone hit on you today?" wtf I swear she just knows stuff. I kinda smirked and then she beat the story out of me.

And no, I did not have the baby. I was at a gaming con. I realized after the fact that my ring wasn't visible either. When I talk to people I think I tend to stick my left hand in my pocket and gesture with my right.

My friend's birthday party starts at eleven. I can't wait to beat him at Star Fox Assault and get beaten at Smash Bros. Last year I gave him a GameCube, which I won't be able to top. I'll just give him money. My mom told me not to give him more of my used stuff because it made us look poor. Of course I don't have anything to give them because all my stuff I could give them they already have.
Insert clever quote here.

So you got jokes too, eh?

Frown: Washing the house again today. That's right, washing the house. I paid some fools to wash it before and it was basically two a**holes with a pressure washer who threw cigarette butts on my lawn. I ended up not paying full price as they did a half ass job.

So now I'll bring out the twenty foot ladder, brush, and do it by hand. It's like brushing a giants teeth.

Smile: Big party at Pringle's house tonight. I hope to God it isn't the usual Rock Band nonsense as I have an NHL game to watch. Since Pringles and his former fiance have split, so has our band "Chopstick Chili Dog". I'm still close friends with his ex, but that doesn't mean I won't call her Yoko.

You must have been smiling when you came home, so she know something had happened.

:) Getting callouses back. I haven't played any instruments in a while, and I've been using my guitar a LOT the past few days.

Nice. since I got that awesome old guitar (its like 52 years old!) Ive been playing acoustic guitar a lot more, and I even wrote a couple new songs for my Payment Due stuff.

It took a bit to get the callouses back but I finally got em.

I still keep ripping my callouses for drumming though. That sucks. I get a hot spot or a blister, and because Im a big boy, I try not to pop the blisters. They heal as callouses, and then the next hard drumming session I have, they rip!

I need to teach myself how to play a guitar :P. Tried once back in middle school but didn't get to far.

We actually have a Gibson SG upstairs that has never been played :P. My dad bought it back when he was in the service back in the 70s and never learned how to play. Instead he just used it as a chick magnet :P.
