Re: Thurs Night Budget PS3 Fight Club -- 1/26 Arcana Heart 3
I have to say that I *probably* like BB better. And I think it looks better. And I think the soundtrack is way better. BUT, I think Arcana 3 is a much deeper game, the extra button makes it faster and more complex, the large roster makes it even more replayable, and the Arcana system is just staggeringly vast. So in the long run, it seems like a game that you can actually spend a lot more time with.

haha sorry dude. Variety is the spice of life.
I'm okay with variety. As long as it's variety minus Capcom.

easy enough: just convince the rest of the fight club to vote for other games. (How's this for a segue?) Speaking of which:
Time to discuss which games you guys want to see on the March vote. Nominees? Thoughts? Things we should definitely not include? Etc?
Re: Thurs Night Budget PS3 Fight Club -- March Nominees?
I vote Rival Schools/Project Justice. Oh wait, that doesn't exist for PS3. If it did Capcom would be redeemed somewhat.

Re: Thurs Night Budget PS3 Fight Club -- March Nominees?
On a more serious note, I vote for the PSN/doujin shooter/fighter hybrid Suguri of Acceleration X Edition.

My thoughts?
No games with 2 person "lobbies." Not that I hated KoF96, it was just a pain to find out who to pair up with next.
No games that we know have crap netplay. Again, not that I hated KoFXII, but there was just too much lag. SF2HD had crappy lobbies, but when we were actually all in a lobby it worked fine.
Also, more AH and BB!

This.
I need to practice more with Heart. It was easy to kick ass with Petra, but Petra is scary looking.

@Quinto: I agree that KOF12 and SF2HD were made really frustrating due to the netcode. I wouldn't vote for either again myself.
I'm not totally against the 2-Player NeoGeo Station games, though I agree it's a lot less organized than a proper lobby.

Anyway, as far as stuff we haven't played yet, I'd be really interested in one of the Mortal Kombat games. Either Kollection (which has newly fixed netcode) or MKvDCU. I'm also dying to play one of the Marvel vs Capcom games -- preferably 2 as I'm not as big a fan of it, but perhaps playing online with you guys will make me see the light. And finally, I'm interested in Battle Fantasia since I've enjoyed BB and AH3 so much.
