GameStop thinks this is still the 80's and games should be limited only to small children and it is frowned upon for older people to play video games. Remember the Simpsons first season? Homer getting his butt whipped in a 2 player punch out game, lol!!!

Gamestop wants to make money for themselves and stock holders. That's it. They aren't out to spread fun or be everyone's friend.

And that's the problem! Of course they want to make money but there had to be some passion for gaming there. At one point in their history, the people behind it liked video games or they wouldn't have started the company at all. There are far easier ways to make money. Either the people that started it are long gone, or they've forgotten why they got into it to begin with.

In a corporate sense this is true, but it doesn't mean every employee has to be so adherent to the rules. In a pure capitalist society, maybe. But darned if I'll let McDonald-ization stop me from walking down the street with a goofy grin on my face.

I think this was a twist on the old joke. The one where a bus station is where a bus stops, a train station is where a train stops, and a work station is where my work stops.
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

The worst part is that you have to be an inconsiderate cutthroat asshole in order to work for GameStop. If you are the kind of person who cares about others and wants to do what's best for games and gamers, you will be fired within a week.
