My dad quit smoking 20 years ago and he says he still craves them occasionally, usually when he's around someone else who's smoking. If you smoke long enough I guess you never completely lose the addiction.

One thing that really irks me is that I can't easily get clove cigarettes anymore.

I had lots of friends that smoked in high school. Guess what the ones that coughed up blood a few times were smoking.

Yeah, those are the 'treat' cigarettes. Those you dont smoke regularly.

Clove cigarettes are yucky. Tastes like you're trying to smoke a pumpkin pie.

Most cigarettes flat out stink and don't smell much of tobacco. I do, however, enjoy the smell of a lucky strike.

I've cut down big time on my cigar smoking. I haven't even looked in my humidor for months.

I'll have to admit that I honestly find it a little surprising that there's so many smokers on here, especially the ones that are much younger than me.

...I just don't get it. Oh well.

I love a nice clove cigarette, and have one about once every two weeks or so on average. They don't compare to a good cigar, obviously, but then again it is a bit absurd to compare them in the first place since they aren't the same kind of experience. I have a cigar a few times a year, but they are more of a special occasion kind of thing...
