Lame.

True metal bands release only about 50 or so copies of their first album. Cassette only.

You must be thinking of nu metal or something.
I honestly don't know what type of metal they were.

@Hobie- the metal band wasn't on a label either. May just be an odd occurrence of expectations.
They might've been expecting way too much, you pretty commonly hear these stories of bands with stars in their eyes expecting to become huge overnight.
I also had a great conversation today with a fantastic guy who argued that doom/stoner/sludge fans are really into any form of metal, that Black Sabbath wasn't metal

Ok then. Consumerism is perceived as a "disease" to many. Why are we all so okay with that? :?
Not OK at all with that...these anti-consumerists should be rounded up into labor camps and forced to make consumable products for the masses, disease cured.

Really, Big Pesticide? You can't just slap "big" in front of a sector of industry to turn them into a boogeyman.

No, but putting business in front of the well being of the planet does.

Yeah, you're right.

Fuck the Jews. Fuck the bees. Fuck pollination. Fuck fruits and vegetables. Go Bayer !!!

Bayer is part of what is called the 'Big 6'. Monsanto, Bayer, Dow, Syngenta, DuPont, and BASF. They are the biggest agrochemical companies on this planet. I'm pretty sure it's just a derogatory term for the Big 6. Nothing worth nitpicking about. Then again, retards will be retards...

The problem is the tendencious language, not how right or wrong you are.
