 Friggin' licensed floyd rose. Had a string slip out of the locks on the bridge. What a pain! Simple enough a fix, but still.

I'm so sick of this thing. I don't use it at all, I'm not even a lead player anyway.

I really like the guitar minus the floyd on it, but I'm probably gonna replace this thing sooner or later anyway. It's a LTD V-250, I figure I can step up to a V-401 FM and be pretty happy. Pretty much the same guitar, but the 401 is set through neck instead of bolt on, has a Tone-o-matic bridge instead of a tremolo, and comes with a pair of EMG 81s stock (might see about replacing the neck one with an 85). Plus it's got an always sexy flamed maple top.

Yeah, I know I can block the trem. That's how I've had it lately. Still have occasional problems with it. Wish someone would make a hardtail bridge that was a straight drop in replacement for a floyd. Oh well. Good excuse to look at new guitars anyway I think.

 : Made an offer on an RX-8 Shinka! Found the perfect one.

:( : Still have to sell the Miata. I'm able to make a pretty hefty down payment but it all depends on whether the seller agrees.

You can get a CatGenie and put it in the bathroom next to your toilet, or in the laundry room, depending on where the hookups are easier to access.

AppleQueso wrote: Just so we're clear, I was kidding about actually wanting a cat to be intimidating. These dogs have lived with cats before and have been around other animals. They generally are a little surprised and spooked when a new animal is introduced, but they settle down after a bit and aren't really too bothered.

The real worry with the cat would probably be all the other cats in the neighborhood. I'd probably want to simply keep him indoors to try and reduce the risk of it getting into fights and getting injured.

That's if I bothered getting one of course. Not sure how badly I want an extra expense (food, litter, etc), even if cats aren't too difficult to take care of.
I wasn't really directing that at you or anyone, I just never miss a chance to talk about animal psychology.

jinx wrote::? After a talk, I think I've decided to get some therapy. My social issues are seriously starting to get to me, and my lack of motivation to better myself has brought me full circle back to where I was when I was a teen: hating myself. Although I don't feel that way when I'm around my daughter, I still don't want her around somebody like that. I've always avoided seeking "professional help", so this is a big change for me. I may actually go seek friends out in the real world too, as the Internet hasn't been the best place to find them. Sometimes I think I'm just stupid/annoying and not very good friend materiel.

:( Miss having a pet. I really want a cat, but I'm not sure where we'd put the litter box. All my other cats have always been "outside" cats. Only had to worry about the litter box with one cat, but that didn't end very well...

:( Need a haircut soon...

:D Add "Pikachu" to my daughter's vocabulary. We were looking up images of Sonic, Mario and Meg Man when she noticed the little yellow electric mouse and insisted I tell her what it was because she remembered seeing it before. When I was leaving for work, she grabbed my Pokemon Adventures Manga out of my pocket and said "Chu!!!". Then proceeded to color what I assume was a Pikachu on some construction paper.

EDIT:
:( What an awful stress filled night at work. I got so worked up at one point that a blood vessel popped in my eye. Now it's red and stings like hell. Maybe I will start posting in the "What Are You Drinking?" thread... every night.
My offer to come over and game with Hobie and I still stands. We do board game nights as well if interested.

Hobie is in West Houston. I am in a suburb of Katy which is west of houston on I10 and about 10-15 min from Hobie. Lake jackson is down south at the coast, so probably at least an hour to hour and 15 drive away from us or more.

It takes forever to get down to my parents because the first highway that's a half of the 'straight shot' has so many lights on it.
