Man.. I would LOVE to have a Savannah cat!! I'll never be able to afford one though, unfortunately.

Well, the cats here! Hardly seen her, she's been hiding. Sherlock is freaking out (dachshund) and Shelby hasn't noticed (dachshund too).

Smile: I will finally be getting my SNES Power Cord tomorrow. Ordered it from another seller Sunday and it should be out for delivery tomorrow according to tracking.

Ticked: Still have to deal with the other seller. Told him I will most likely just be returning the item if it arrives at this point. So far haven't gotten a response :P. Will just file an A-Z claim tomorrow and let Amazon handle it :X.

Edit: Got my response in a way. Even after I told him I would just be returning it he finally shipped it at 3:00pm today. What a dick.

Well, regardless of whether he turns out to be depressed, kicks a possible drug habit, homosexual, transgender, or interested in pursuing a philosophy degree instead of what his father wants, he'll still be accepted here.

I was with you until the last one. Philosophy degrees have no place on my internet.

I met a guy once who had the idea of hanging out with Philosophy majors and pronouncing all the names wrong.

That's generally true, but that doesn't remove the risk of introducing a new animal to the house. If the dog is intimidated by the cat, that increases the chance of aggression, and an attack. The dog usually ends up on the nasty end, but if it's a really big dog the cat can easily be killed by a chomp and snap. Also, if the cat is hostile towards the dog, 9 times out of 10 that means the cat is actually scared of it. Cats that don't give a damn when a dog comes up and sniffs them are the ones that truly don't give a shit about what the dog does and are not scared.

In any case, animals are generally indifferent to the concept of size. Doesn't matter how large the dog is, how small the cat is, etc, dominance will be established by personality first and foremost, especially with domesticated dogs/cats that aren't fighting for food. You don't really want any of the animals scaring or intimidating each other if you want a state of peace. Domesticated pets will typically reach some state of harmony on their own, but a lot of it has to do with the owner too.
Just so we're clear, I was kidding about actually wanting a cat to be intimidating. These dogs have lived with cats before and have been around other animals. They generally are a little surprised and spooked when a new animal is introduced, but they settle down after a bit and aren't really too bothered.

The real worry with the cat would probably be all the other cats in the neighborhood. I'd probably want to simply keep him indoors to try and reduce the risk of it getting into fights and getting injured.

That's if I bothered getting one of course. Not sure how badly I want an extra expense (food, litter, etc), even if cats aren't too difficult to take care of.

:? After a talk, I think I've decided to get some therapy. My social issues are seriously starting to get to me, and my lack of motivation to better myself has brought me full circle back to where I was when I was a teen: hating myself. Although I don't feel that way when I'm around my daughter, I still don't want her around somebody like that. I've always avoided seeking "professional help", so this is a big change for me. I may actually go seek friends out in the real world too, as the Internet hasn't been the best place to find them. Sometimes I think I'm just stupid/annoying and not very good friend materiel.

:( Miss having a pet. I really want a cat, but I'm not sure where we'd put the litter box. All my other cats have always been "outside" cats. Only had to worry about the litter box with one cat, but that didn't end very well...

:( Need a haircut soon...

:D Add "Pikachu" to my daughter's vocabulary. We were looking up images of Sonic, Mario and Meg Man when she noticed the little yellow electric mouse and insisted I tell her what it was because she remembered seeing it before. When I was leaving for work, she grabbed my Pokemon Adventures Manga out of my pocket and said "Chu!!!". Then proceeded to color what I assume was a Pikachu on some construction paper.

EDIT:
:( What an awful stress filled night at work. I got so worked up at one point that a blood vessel popped in my eye. Now it's red and stings like hell. Maybe I will start posting in the "What Are You Drinking?" thread... every night.
