Is there a cart cleaning equivalent?

Some of those cleaning kits had wands for the carts. Usually they were just a lump of foam on a a plastic stick. A glorified q-tip.

Meh, I'll stick to q-tips then.

Nice! QTips or alcohol dampened cardboard can work, but the cleaning kits are the easiest way without disassembling a console.

I been looking for one for a long time and I was able to find one here, right in the Buy/Sell/Trade section. :D

Wouldn't it have been great if GBA games had come in those boxes originally?

Visiting inlaws in Sitka, Alaska. Needed to get out of the house so I went to the video store to play some of their arcade games. They had 2 neo geos with metal slug 1 and 3, excite bike vs, area 51, a broken X-men Children of the Atom :( , and a handful of other working machines. On the way back stoped at a garage sale and got a 3 ft HDMI cable for 50 cents. The lady told me she had taken it out of the package and found it was to short for her. Scoped out some of old routers cause I am looking for one compatible with DD-WRT to use as wireless repeater.

I personally love the original cardboard boxes, but this is by far the best (and cheap) alternative! :D

Made a venture about an hour north to stimulate another city's economy.

Hit up the local spots for some interesting games. I wonder every year how I will be able to find anything good and I always do. This year was no exception:

Goemon's Great Adventure - $15 (ex-rental, they hacked up the box in to a cover, better than nothing I guess..)
Firepower 2000 - $4
Romance of the Three Kingdoms - $4
Destiny of an Emperor - $4
Future Cop LAPD - $4 (complete, been searching for this for years.)
Namco Museum Vol 1 - $4 (complete)
Namco Museum Vol 2 - $4 (complete)
RC de GO! - $4 (complete)
Dino Stalker - $5 (complete, thought I had all the guncon games..)
Black Stone: Magic & Steel - $5 (bought on a whim, sounded like fun from reviews)
Shinobi III - $1

Maybe not the most ideal prices but always suprised what I find out there. One of the guys at the store was telling me they had Metal Warriors and it sold for $20 and he recently had a Earth Bound traded in which he scooped up and tossed on ebay. So they get good stuff out that way, just wish it wasn't so far.

The DS cases would have been perfect, a shame Nintendo did not go this route. noise mentioned the cover project site to get the custom covers. Golfball Cases or Coin pages are another option.

@ Mechblue - Great find on Future Cop, a good game! Thanks for reminding me, need to play this again!
