If I owned a hog I would just call it "Delicious".

Psh, they should get more creative. "Pork chop" or "Sausage" or something at least.

I would name them Porky, Miss Piggy, Wilbur, Babe, Gordy, Piglet, and Pumbaa. Eating them would then be really macabre.

I'm sorry...this is the best part of the story.

The funniest part about Paul spending a few hundred dollars on the snake was that he totally bought it to try to attract girls, which backfired. Big time.

Once in a while a college girl would find the snake to be "cool" but most gave him the resounding "You're trying too hard".

Mom is out of surgery and in recovery while the anesthesia wears off. The surgeon says he saw no sign that the cancer had spread beyond the known affected area. The pathologist will check on Monday to confirm, but we're hoping she is now cancer-free.

That is great news! I wish your mom a speedy recovery!

Cancer is some scary stuff to deal with.

I always liked the old school farmer method of killing snakes. You put glass eggs in the chickens nest, so that when the snake grabs an egg, he'll grab the glass one instead, which will break inside him and kill him.

:D :All set up for Friday, rolling on down to the Stockdale Watermelon Jubilee for a bit. Music, dancing, and a rodeo. We've got two girls going with us, one of which I never met. I'm interested to see how that goes, as my friend is flirting with her and a different girl who will probably be down there. And we're going to hang at his place after, and there might be alcohol available...

But that would be torture as opposed to something quick.
