I'm going to be playing Shenmue again. I haven't played the game since the last time I finished it, which was a good 13 years ago. I am REALLY looking forward to it.
I hope it's as magical as I remember it being.

Do it. You won't be disappointed. I've played through it 3 times myself, always something new.

Grandia II... like riding a bike. Visited Mareg's village, did a lot of walking thru the woods, found a desert w/ dead robots and a wall of clouds, and killed a minotaur.

I always shun RPG's but Grandia 2 i actually liked. I hate flipping switches, finding the ( never played any of the RE games for example) invisible walls, pushing rocks and been lost in mazes for hours. Theres not much of this in Grandia 2 which appealed to me. Unfortunately (other than a few instances) its a linear point A to point B affair. Its strength is also its weakness. Therefore it is low on replay value. I have to wait a while so i can "forget" more of the game before i revisit it. I did enjoy it and was a bit sad when i finally finished it.

ticked: So I had booted up Grandia II. Left off right before a battle against two gorgons. Beat them no problem. Wasn't smart enough to save after the battle, which would have been easy as there was a save spot right before the room they're in. Instead, I figured that I was out of the rough and it would just be some story exposition in the next room. Nope, it was a battle against another robot like Tio. I was low on SP, MP and HP from the gorgons so she tore me up. Shrugged it off. "oh well, I'll just have to fight the gorgons again." Then they killed me twice in a row. I don't know why I'm having difficulty with them since they seemed so easy the first time. But now they keep casting heal spells on each other, which they didn't do once the first time I faced them. :\

Keep at it the snake queens are pretty easy. However, there was some instances where the boss was easy one time then difficult the next. The tio clone dodges a bunch if i remember correct but itsnt that hard herself.

Ok guys I know I don't have the dreamcast but I got a ps2 for free yesterday for my birthday. So even though its not as great as a ps2, was there any dreamcast ports that are on the ps2 that looks as good as the dreamcast?

There are quite a few DC ports, but this list right here on Racketboy will help you get started:

Don't even bother with that previous question. It seems the ps2 is dead so thanks anyways
