Hey now, I have forgotten none of those. Well ok, I'm not sure I ever talked to an operator. Also kids these days, missing out on purple homework. :P

I don't know about that...

It looks like she is going to eat me! (Seriously, where are her pupils? Is this just bad photoshopping?)

I've never been afraid of public speaking, even though I'm terrible at it. Lots of ums, ughs, pauses, and stutters. Often I'll just start going off on something irrelevent and I'm very bad at getting my point across, and my voice doesn't stay consistant, especially as a teenager. But that's not because I'm speaking in public, that's just how I always talk.
I'm quite good at argiing in person so I alwayd have my thoughts gathered.

To this day I still save all my work, and shut down the PC and laptop. When I see kids just slap their laptop close I feel the need to shout "Waiiiiiiiit!".

The worse was printing out a long essay on a dot matrix printer, tearing the sides of the paper off, and then eventually tearing part of the paper off and having to reprint the whole damned thing.

She was crowned Miss Iowa and she has one hand. I can't even guess how many times she probably heard other contestants say "I can't believe I lost to some girl with only one hand".

For someone with a similar "disability", I can't help but root for her and admire her courage. Also love the fact, that like me, she is who she is. No prosthetics; she finds ways to adapt. Very admirable.

She's a very attractive lady. That is a terrible photoshop hack job though. Seems doubly silly to have made her look plastic. :?

I agree. She is undoubtedly a beautiful and talented young woman, but the photoshopping on her website is terrifying...

8) MAN OF STEEL tickets purchased
:D At a place where there likely wont be any kids screaming

 Had to take my dear friend Count Neo Tyrone Rugen (Neo for short) to the vet today. He's been grooming a little excessively as of late, and I noticed he had a huge patch of fur missing from the back of his rear right thigh. Doc says it's likely just allergies but they are gonna take some blood and other samples, so we had to leave him there until this afternoon. He was really sad to see us leave and I miss him. I feel really bad because he's just a dumb cat, and because he's dumb - he probably thinks mom and dad abandoned him there, never to come back. I miss him. I keep expecting him to jump on my desk, or rub up against my leg while watching TV.

Screams Glamor Shots, doesn't it? Does that place even exist anymore?

I'm looking forward to hearing all the kids and loud people's reactions.

Head's up, you'll be spending a little bit more than three hours in the theater if you get to the movie on time. Thirty minutes of trailers/commercials/theater hype, and a movie that is a bit over two and a half hours (including credits). Bring a "burger purse" or buy a large popcorn.

Smile: Picked up two Arturo Fuente Opus X cigars for under seventy bucks. I went to my local tobacconist, so that's actually a great deal.

Coincidence: Went to the Fresh Market as premium ground Sirloin is $2.50 a lb. on Tuesdays. When I walked in the store I saw rainier cherries, which I told my Father last night "I haven't had a rainier cherry since our trip to Clovis".

While weighing the cherries a woman in her late sixties said "At that price I'd buy a whole pound". I told her about my conversation with my Pops and she replied "I'm from Fresno". Turns out she is a retired professor from the California School of Professional Psychology, the same school where my Sister earned her PsyD. Also turns out she lives in my neighborhood.

Small world.

Golgo 14 wrote: I know you don't want to hear it, but this is a good description of depression. Anger and sadness are two sides of the same coin and when people get tired of the pain of those emotions, they numb themselves to lessen the hurt.

It doesn't sound like you're interested in exploring this or getting help, so no amount of advice is going to be able to move you in that direction. Keep it in mind though and maybe someday you'll want to work towards making some changes. When you're ready, you can improve your life without obliterating your personality.

On a more general note, suggesting someone try new, fun activities is good advice for a person who is sad or down on his luck, but it's not much help to someone suffering from depression. People experiencing depression need professional help. Even then it's not easy, but it's worth the effort to make your life worth living.
Well, I really don't think its depression. I don't have a numbness, or anything that indicates depression. Its not like that. I had those emotional issues when I was really little, before depression is even possible. I was about 4 or 5 when it started, and it came to a head when I was about in 5th grade, and I had to bring it under control. Being unable to keep control of yourself, emotions or otherwise, is the mark of a weak man, and I was not going to let myself become weak.

And, I've always read that depressed people feel depressed even when they are in a group and such- if I'm with people, having fun, I'm fine, so I feel like I can't be depressed. At most I'm lonely.
