And that's any different from say Transformers or G.I. Joe?Luke wrote:Only a. Perfectly fine for kids without souls who like their super heroes to be complete selfish butt faces.

GI JOE RETALIATION has a ninja in a kitchen. I'm not going to spoiler tag that as it is THE reason to see the movie.BurningDoom wrote: And that's any different from say Transformers or G.I. Joe?
A Ninja, in a Kitchen.
And yes...TRANSFORMERS is very different as far as having the hero being a stink finger. Prime sacrifices his life, as does Duke in GI JOE.
I'm referring to the good GI JOE and great TRASNFORMER movies. The animated ones.
The rest can take a long umbrella walk in the park with Paris Hilton and blow me. That is, except for a scene where a NINJA IS IN A KITCHEN!

Psh, tha'ts nothing. TMNT used to show a ninja in a kitchen at least once per episode.Luke wrote:GI JOE RETALIATION has a ninja in a kitchen. I'm not going to spoiler tag that as it is THE reason to see the movie.BurningDoom wrote: And that's any different from say Transformers or G.I. Joe?

Episode one of the animated series has one of the best lines in television history:
"Welcome to Ninja Pizza! Home of the nice slice!".
...the things I remember.

Then there's this exchange from the same scene:Luke wrote:AppleQueso wrote:

Don: "Whoever heard of ninjas hanging out in a pizzeria?"
April: "You're ninjas and you're in a pizzeria."
Good old April. She could give Raph a run for his money in the snark department.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

Seek out the Random House "TMNT Adventures" cassette. So, so, awfully good.

I actually used to have that as a kid. I still have the comic book that came with it and for all I know, I might still have the tape somewhere, but if I do, it's buried in the closet with all my other tapes (which I need to dig out since I picked up a working Walkman the other day).Luke wrote:Seek out the Random House "TMNT Adventures" cassette. It's like an old live action voiced radio series that follows the first season of the TMNT animated series. It also ends with a "Turtle Rap" that has to heard to be believed.noiseredux wrote:What is that Luke?
It's also on every mobile device I own. The music, voice acting, "rap", and sound effects are pretty adorable.
The tape is bright yellow and it came with a comic that you could read along with.
