That's nothing compared to when I inadvertently ended up on bestgore.comBoringSupreez wrote:Ok, so today I learned that browsing Reddit because I'm bored is a terrible idea. On the front page was a story about a guy who accidentally ripped his penis out by the root with a power tool, then had it surgically attached to his arm so his crotch could heal before reattachment. I remember I once saw these two Brazilian guys fight. One had a sharp rusty pole and the other a rusty machete. It wan't pretty.AppleQueso wrote:gore/shock websites and such are as old as the internet has had pictures.

In other words, you want to keep as many artificial fences as possible because you think gipsies are going to steal your stuff?Adam wrote:I hate the ability to move and settle freely within the EU. We'll see millions of poor Eastern Europeans flood the more wealthy countries in the West. It is a massive burden. Romania and Bulgaria will be able to move freely as of early 2014. We already have a problem with Roma thieves in our streets, imagine thousands upon thousands more
I don't think this is going to go anywhere.

To be fair, I wouldn't want Gypsies moving in to my hometown either. We've got them over here and they're not exactly model citizens.

I heard that South Europe is doing great. What, 60% percent youth employment in Spain, and ever increasing tension between communist thugs and violent neo nazis in Greece. I'm sure a couple of hundred thousand illiterate unemployed immigrants more straining the public sector resources would be an immense help to the dire economic situation. What could go wrong?

Spain's problems are not related to inmigration, but the credit market bubble and corrupt politicians creating banks. In Greece the ruling parties have used public founds to buy votes, hence the problem.Menegrothx wrote:I heard that South Europe is doing great. But I suppose it's easier to blame the gypsies and inmigrants.

Don't forget all the neo-nazis we have. I'm sure a person like you would feel like family with them.Menegrothx wrote:I heard that South Europe is doing great. Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I never claimed so. Point is that bringing in even more unemployed people to a country with severe economic problems is a recipe for disaster. Not only will it make the situation worse, but it'll increase ethnic tensions and violence. It's not the immigrants fault that the government is letting them in and helping them before native citizens, but when native citizens have had enough, that rage will most likely be directed at at those immigrants, rather than the government. Even in a good economic situation, the host country doesn't benefit at all from taking in immigrant groups who most likely won't assimiliate nor find a job. Why should the government use tax payers money to do something that is unbeneficial and harmful to it in the long run?
And while Spains problems aren't caused by gypsies, they are in part caused by naive, uneducated leftist who drink the kool aid and gladly submit to economic and cultural suicide for the sake of some pan-European idealism that has nothing to do with an open borders policy. You could still buy German beer even if you lived in a fiscally responsible country. Even move to Belgium if you were committed enough to do so.
