How would you do VC Nintendo Tetris with online multiplayer, just scoreboards? It didn't have a multiplayer mode.

maybe Nintendo is jacking the Tengen version?

Or more likely, the SNES version?

May have a point there. I doubt the Tengen thing, but the SNES version could be a possibility.

As an aside, it's too bad that Tengen Tetris doesn't look as cool or sound as good as the Ninty NES version (imo). It's definitely the better game.

Really? Your gaming PC is cheaper than a Switch and several years of on-line service?

Steam is certainly cheaper overall, but yeah, PC gaming has much more significant up-front costs. (I'm currently agonizing over gaming PC options right now!)

Personally I am hoping for Tetris Attack/Panel De Pon.

Actually yes. I got my current gaming pc in 2007. Q6600, 4gigs of ddr2, 9600gt. I did finally upgrade the gpu last year to a 960. Original machine that I got a solid 9 years of use out of - $450. Though this is not really a fair comparison - and if things go well this month I will be upgrading soon.

The argument of cost is a silly one to compare PC vs. console. Up front, PCs are more expensive. However, PC wins in the long run every single time.

Mostly yes. But not when comparing it to a portable. I haven't seen an actual highly portable laptop yet that's any good for games.

That's why I said PC vs. console, not PC vs. handheld.
