Alpha 2 Gold is the Alpha 2 with Cammy in it. I figure she must be available in Versus mode as well, that's how Cham Cham worked in Samurai Shodown IV Special on the PS1 - no single player, only versus.
I guess they didn't want to bother coming up with endings or whatever for them, but hell, I'd have been find with a storyless arcade mode in both instances, especially Cham Cham though as they even went through the effort of giving her a Bust version.

Man I have a odd feeling even though I'm hoping for a sub-100 on a lot on ebay it's going to end up way way way over just because of the pokemon in it that I really need to get back into the collection....

How the fuck people on my country think that a retro console complete costs 100$? A bit more and you can buy a used PS3!

Oh my God, dude, talk about people having no idea how much their shit is worth.
Just had a dude bring in a bunch of games. Not terrible games, mind you, but nothing revolutionary. A few PS1 RPGs - SEALED - but Greatest Hits. Famicom Gameboy Micro in the box - but clearly used. And then a torrent of good to okay lose SNES and NES games, nothing above $20 in value. Probably about 80 items in total.
"So, how much were you looking to get for all of this?"
"$1200."
With the straightest of faces, too. I ask him why he thinks this lot is worth that much. He says that the Famicom GBA Micro is brand new. I have to explain to him that "Sealed" and "Not sealed, but I didn't use it, I swear on me mum" don't have nearly the same value.
He then says that he knows he could make $700 on eBay and that surely he expected our place to give him more money. What? WHAT? Why the hell would we, a business that has to pay employees, pay rent and make a profit on top of that, give you MORE than directly selling it would?
Mind blown. The exact definition of knowing just enough to be dangerous.
Almost as bad as the time someone came in wanting $90 for their Wii because they paid $100 for it.
"We sell Wiis complete for $50."
"... Well then, can I get $45 for it?"

Anything that can be considered retro... including atari. NES was the worst for a while, still kinda is but they have calmed down a bit. That's the default price for any complete consoledarsparx wrote:wait what console are you talking about?Damm64 wrote:How the fuck people on my country think that a retro console complete costs 100$? "AC adapter, 1 controller, AV/RF cables, and (if youre lucky) a game: 100$"

Will download.
I'm also gonna import a physical PSP version eventually, along with the other LoH games that didn't make it to the States.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
Started up Dead Space for a little horror-play this Halloween. Would've gotten the Silent Hill Collection, but it isn't available locally and I didn't feel like waiting for the order to come in.
On another note, it aggravates me how some of the games I nerd the hell out about don't have any good groups to discuss them. Love Dishonored, love the Hitman games, etc. No real places to discuss them. Even reddit is a surprising wasteland for them.

Just do what i do, throw the topic on a discussion with your friends to see if you can hook someone into playing it. Or you could drop on a friends house with a copy of the game and go "We're playing this NOW!"Forlorn Drifter wrote:On another note, it aggravates me how some of the games I nerd the hell out about don't have any good groups to discuss them.
Does this work? Barely! But hell is fun seeing their faces when i tell them what kind of route i use when playing human revolution "I was going trough this electrified water using two boxes as a bridge"
