I was a store manager of a gamestop. And the kid will care if he wants to keep his job.

If the employees are hungry enough for hours they will.

When I worked at Starbucks I didn't care to upsell at all. Jackass manager only motivated me to try even less to upsell. To the point where I would joke with regular customers about down selling them. :lol: Good times.

It's not a matter of it being effective or not, it's a matter that they are deliberatedly trying to mislead the costumer. That's a huge no-no for me.

Not that it would greatly affect me, their prices already drove me away.

my wife texted me that she went to do some holiday shopping for me at GS today and had a funny exchange with the guy at the register...
