Video Game "Look what I found"
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Picked up 2 nice looking (and 100% working) PSone controllers for $3 total today at Goodwill. Not that I need anymore controllers for a system I never play but, I can never pass up cheap controllers. haha And it was pretty cool I guess, because one of the controllers was priced $1.50 and the other at $2.50, but the lady was nice enough to ring them both up as $1.50. Happy day. haha
Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
A couple small finds:
Virtua Racing (genesis, CIB) .99
Vectorman (genesis CIB) 1.99
Now the Vectorman is pretty interesting, since it talks about a giveaway for various prizes, and to win it states that certain versions of the game have a special message after you beat it stating "you won" and gives you a super secret phone number and address. You call the number, and send your game cart (lol) receipt, and card with info for the chance to win.
What if this cart was a "winner"? could that change the value? Are there even special carts, or are they all the same? Here are some pics for reference:
I love how he his hitting the genesis text on the side BTW.

^ That makes me want to beat my copy of Vectorman just out of curiosity. But honestly I doubt I will ever bother with it. haha

This is quite interesting. It was definitely legitimate, and at least 10 carts were returned to Sega and presumably disposed of.

MLG and piracy would ruin it.

what about that contest a couple years ago where the first person to pitch a perfect season in a newly released baseball game won a boatload of money? That was pretty cool.BoringSupreez wrote: I wish we still had neat contests like that.

It appears to have been MLB 2K10. The winner got $1,000,000.

Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.
