^ It's eerie how similar our games beaten lists are.

Good taste is good taste no matter what country you live in.Balasubbie wrote:^ It's eerie how similar our games beaten lists are.
Of course, my family came over from Ireland so let's just assume that it's genetic.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Batman: Arkham Asylum - PS3
Star Wars: Shadow of the Empire - N64
Bulletstorm - 360
Mortal Kombat (new one) - PS3
Uncharted 2: Among Theives - PS3
Demon's Souls - PS3
Duke Nukem Forever - 360
Brutal Legend - 360
Psychonauts - Xbox
Dead Space - 360
inFAMOUS - PS3
Sonic the Hedgehog - Genesis
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Genesis
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - N64
Assassin's Creed - 360
I already beat the Sonic games and OoT but I replayed them. Does that count?
Anyway, I HATE Assassin's Creed. I truly had to force myself to beat this game, which is a shame. The concept seems cool, but the repetitive gameplay made me wish that I had something better to do.

Re: Games Beaten : 2011
Puzzle Bobble Mini on Neo Geo Pocket Color: Puzzle mode and VS mode (low difficulty). Puzzle Bobble is always fun and the NGPC's joystick is wonderfully responsive. However the bubble's colours are a bit to similar to each other and I found myself confusing them (especially green with grey) unless I had PERFECT light conditions.
Mostly harmless

Yes, that is indeed an XBLA title on my beaten list. A friend downloaded the Warhammer 40K game Kill Team. It feels a LOT like a 40K version of Smash TV but with melee added. The game is pretty epic, challenging, and has a decent enough story. I kinda wish that there were either characters beyond Space Marines to play as or that there were more chapters but hey - it's a fun game.
I also played though The King of Dragons on the Capcom Classics vol 2 for the PS2. Great little title - probably one of the more complex and lengthy arcade games I have ever seen. I am not ashamed to admit that I needed many a continue; this game was crazy hard, even with two people. I wish Capcom still made games like this.

Re: Games Beaten : 2011
I might just do that. Do the sequels add any sort of variety, or are they still following the "Climb a tower, look, jump off, pickpocket/eavesdrop/interrogate, eliminate target, repeat 9 times" formula?Xeogred wrote: OBJECTION!

Hard. I didn't enjoy it, to be honest. It was just too damn hard. My only strategy was to press start when I died too many times.BurningDoom wrote:How is that? I've had my eye on it for a while, but haven't really heard much about it.Flake wrote:5/14 Gigawing (DC)

PL is a series that I've wanted to try for so long, but haven't. So when I noticed a new copy of Unwound Future at Gamestop, I jumped on it. And boy, it's better than I expected. Great story, great puzzles, great animation. And the end is so sad.
WarioWare is good for short bursts, but I made it to the credits in under an hour of play. If you're looking for depth, this isn't for you, but it's good for what it is: a bunch of entertaining five-second games.
