Nice list sir!
I played and beat Shadows of the Empire last year and completely loved it

I plan on killing myself over going through the entire Megaman Battle Network series on the GBA.

For those who are keeping score:
BN 1
BN 2
BN 3 Blue Version
BN 4 Blue Moon Version
BN 5 Protoman Version
BN 6 Cybeast Falzar Version

I want to suffer

I’ll break this up with the Megaman Zero series on the GBA however.

The worst Star Wars game of its generation, huh? Not a classic. It wasnt even good when it came out.
dsheinem wrote:-Zero Gunner 2 (Switch)
I’m a pretty big nerd, and even I had to look this one up. Not a classic.
dsheinem wrote:-Postal (Redux version) (and maybe the 2nd one?)
This is a good pick...if you are an immature-for-your-age 14 year old. (That is...not a classic.)
dsheinem wrote:-Marvel Ultimate Alliance (and maybe the 2nd one?)
Hmmmm...maybe?
dsheinem wrote:-God Hand (PS2)
The worst game from a great studio. Cult classic at best.
dsheinem wrote:-S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl (PC)
OK. I’ll give this to you because I don’t know much about PC games. I’ve read it’s good, but still probably more of a cult classic.
dsheinem wrote:-Far Cry (PC)
OK. I’ll give this one to you too.
dsheinem wrote:-Mega Man 2 (NES)
Good pick. In fact, it’s such a good pick that you should be ashamed of yourself if you haven’t already beaten it.
dsheinem wrote:-Samurai Shodown V Special (Arcade)
Huh?! What?! Has the world gone mad?! This is the video game equivalent of beige. Neither bad nor good. Completely neutral. It might as well not exist, and definitely isn’t a classic.
dsheinem wrote:-1-2 others TBD...
And you accuse me of copping out! At least, by tying mine to TR, I had an excuse...

If this board had a karma system you would get so many votes.

That’s just what I expected, thanks! Don’t worry...if I perform as well as last year I probably won’t finish any of these anyway

I just want to add, if you're going to play Postal, skip the first and just play Postal 2. Postal 2 is cathartic in a way few other games can ever hope to be. It'll teach you things about yourself you'll wish you never knew.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Ha, the dish list is, well, interesting... I totally support the inclusion of Zero Gunner 2, for what that's worth.

And do people actually like God Hand?

Going to try to mix in several systems:

1) Silent Hill (PS1) - If i can find my copy.
2) Startropics (NES) - I saw someone else post this and I’m stealing it. Well, stealing the idea, not the actual game. I have this and the sequel and I’ve never touched them.
3) Panzer Dragoon Zwei (Saturn) - I don’t know how I’ve never gotten around to beating this given that Orta is possibly my favorite Xbox game.
4) Cool Spot (Genesis) - I’ve played this many times but never beat it.
5) Crimson Skies (Xbox) - I always really enjoy this when I play it but I’ve never played far in the campaign.

5 is probably pretty ambitious for me already, but if my son decides he is going to sleep through the night this summer here are some reaches:

1) Jak 3 (PS2)
2) Resident Evil Code Veronica (DC)
3) Castlevania 3 (NES)
4) Timesplitters: Future Perfect (PS2)
5) Perfect Dark (N64)

Definitely do Startropics 1, don't bother with 2. The first one is excellent.
