SNES Classic coming September 29th
Re: SNES Classic coming September 29th
I could see that as the only other good reason. They're still angry and fed up with harassment every single day over NES shipments. They'd rather not list it, put a sign up saying, no preorders at this time, and minimize the dumb stuff until the last moment possible. Maybe, even go as far as one or two NOT carrying it just to avoid the time wasting involved. It's not like they make added money off of answering phones and stupid questions along with having people lining up early.

Yes, one or two stores do not want to make any money because a couple of employees were harassed by customers.Tanooki wrote:I could see that as the only other good reason. Re: SNES Classic coming September 29th
I got an email from Very.co.uk who I preordered with this morning and froze.
Fortunately it was merely confirming that "everything is on track" and that my order should definitely be delivered.
That seems an odd thing to email out with months still to go so I'm guessing they've had more than a few concerned emails asking if they can guarantee their preorder...or have just received confirmation from Nintendo that they can supply it.

Though nobody else around here seems to bothered by it, I really wish Pilot Wings was on here.
Sure it wasn't the greatest SNES game but I would almost argue its more playable than Star Fox nowadays. Even running Star Fox in an emulator with the Super FX chip overclocked to smooth out the framerate it still doesn't keep my interest.
Star Fox 64 still rocks though.
I really do hope the supply issues are not as bad as the NES classic. I live in a small town with only a Wal-Mart for buying new games. The Gamestop closed last year. For people like me it was pretty much impossible to get one. I think walmart only got 4, with about 10 people waiting in line at midnight to snag them up.

One of the most exciting things for me about this is that I can finally have a good classic controller to plug into my Wii so I can play samurai shodown anthology with some justice.

2. Definitely not buying two of them.
3. Fighting sticks work for only a few types of fighting games for me.
4. Sam sho ain't one of them.

Re: SNES Classic coming September 29th
Maybe, but I never bothered buying a classic controller for my Wii because I felt it was too expensive for 2. Now 2 will be included in a package that I want with games I have never experienced.Reprise wrote:Wasn't a SNES controller already released for the Wii?
