You realise there are adults who were born 9 years after this game came out right?
I'm 27 and I wasn't born when this game was first released in Japan. Even by the time it made it over here to Europe I was only 2!

People who turned 21 last year would have been born in 1994. I'd imagine most of them wouldn't get the significance

I realize. Stop reminding me.

I still stand by my point. Anyone who experienced the game in its time were blown away by how far ahead of the pack it was on the NES and it's certainly still enjoyable to new generations today.

Like Alien, I'm 27, but I grew up on the all NES classics... including SMB 1 and 2.

I've played SMB 3, of course, but playing it today would actually be a pretty fresh experience compared to SMB1-2.

The same goes for SM World and SM64, but that's because I wasn't a "Nintendo kid," but a Sega/Sony one.
I review (mostly old) games at: The Annals of Retrodom.

niiice. Now you've got me pumped for our Japanese Saturn Explorers Club starting in May. Bulk Slash is a bit pricey, but dammit it looks good! Man, I love the Saturn so much.

Agreed, that looks like an interesting one.

Now wait, did you say Japanese Saturn club?! Because I happen to live in Japan with access to cheap Saturn games... and I just happened to have purchased a Japanese saturn...

Wait, what? How the hell did I miss that too? Sounds like fun, Noise! I'm going to check out the thread now.

Edit: OMFG just saw the front page. That's literally the greatest idea anyone has ever had, ever.
