This right here. I usually enjoy luke's insight but that dick measuring of why somebody isn't entitled to an opinion in twd thread ,because he's "not in the business", was over the line. But oh well.

If allowed, I will get to exactly to that as I hate to criticize without providing an intelligent solution. Complaining without giving a solution is whining, which is useless.

That in mind the water is about to boil, through posts and PMs and I want to make sure my criticism does provide a solution. Our members are pouring out their frustrations while also expressing their love for this forum. I don't want to spitball things, as my focus is to get everyone on the same page.

This isn't easy. Though I do know if everyone lets out their frustrations and opinions on this forum we'll be golden. I want to more about how our community feels as a whole, and then I can give options on how to improve our community and keep our members in captivation conversations...even if it's just talking about Dynamite Duke.

But we're having a progressive conversation, which is the best start to encourage more members to engage in discussion.

Comments like this suck the life out of the forums. You really should find something better to do with your time if you dislike it around here so much. It seems like you'd be a lot happier if you did.

On my front, I've always been a casual commenter and not one for super lengthy discussions, but I still visit the site daily and check up on things. I've always tried to contribute to the big events like the charity auction, stgt, but my staple was always the BST section. However thats slowed down a lot the past 12 months so there hasn't been much for me to do. I also think the comments about the retro gaming topics in general just being a bit worn are accurate. However, as we all get older I think the conversations can still evolve and still be really valuable even if they slow down in frequency. I for one will make an effort to participate even more.

TLDR: I STILL LOVE IT AROUND HERE AND ENJOY CHECKING IN ON THE HOT TOPICS DAILY! I WILL BE PARTICIPATING EVEN MORE NOWI
