Thanks for the tip, but I loathe the SEGA GT series and would prefer to purchase the JSRF on it's own.

Game Sack put up a nice episode review on the Xbox recently. I went ahead and ordered Spikeout Battle Street on a whim because it looked amazing and potentially better than Bouncer on the PS2.

The original Spikeout arcade game was pretty fun. I was in Japan when it was still all over the place. I did find it just a little frenetic for my tastes, but it was still pretty cool. One of Sega's Model 3 games.

I'm thinking about getting into the XBOX just for the Sega Games. I'll slap a sticker over the XBOX logo that says Dreamcast 2 and live in an imaginary world for a couple days.

I really feel like that the Xbox is the unofficial dreamcast 2. So many similarities with both systems

There's a lot of ways to view the XBOX. To some it's a Halo machine. To some it's a hacker's project box. To some it's an up-res PS2. And to Sega nerds like us, it's the closest thing to the Dreamcast 2.

That's basically what I was thinking while watching the Game Sack video, I'd love to scoop up all the Sega exclusives for it eventually.

Even got some From Software, Capcom, etc exclusives on there too. They really did try to cater to everyone back then. And it looks like the secret still isn't out on Xbox collecting, the dozens of games I have wishlisted on Amazon are still dirt cheap. 8)

Im starting to get the bug for Original Xbox collecting, recently i wanted to play one of my favorite games ever, Tony Hawk's Underground, and only have an xbox copy so I threw it into my 360 and I started to wonder if I had been missing out on some great Xbox games. I might stop by a local game store and pick up Halo 1 and 2 for under $10 bucks for the pair, as I never actually put the time into those (only playing the first for a few minutes at most)

It seems like it is still a great time to pick up titles for the console, as a lot of them are the cheapest version from that generation when multi platform, and even "expensive" games are relatively cheap.
