Mecha-Hitler is dead, and I did it all on my iPad
This was a fun trip down memory lane, and one that by playing the game on a new interface made it much better for me (I played on the PC for a bit and quickly got bored). I probably won't go on to the "Nocturnal Missions" or "Spear of Destiny" but I do plan to fire up the new Wolfenstein game from a few years ago and play through it.

I'm finding it real hard to play this anymore. I admit it, it bores the hell out of me. I used to love it, and I appreciate it's significance, but it hasn't aged anywhere near as well as Doom and Quake have.

http://youtu.be/-YNw_tqRiacThis guy explains step by step everything you have to do, from strategies to kill the enemies to every secret door, everything you need is in there. I'm personally watching is videos to see what I'm missing from the later episodes

I watched the first one and is just a walkthrough. He doesn't really cover any strategies. His videos are well done though.
Maybe his other videos will go into more details on strategies?

It's only in particularly hard sections, like certain rooms full of enemies, or intersections with enemies on both sides, stuff like that. Search for the video of the level you're stuck in, maybe he'll talk about that, and if not, at least you can learn by watching him. He's playing on the hardest difficulty, so his strategies should apply for any situation.

He has the advantage of knowing the game inside and out. So he knows that enemies are in certain places.
But if you are new to the game, what's the general strategy for a room?
- open the door, fire a shot, and then wait?
- enter the room and keep moving, and shooting
etc.

Episode 3 complete
I know many of you would consider it complete at this point, but the GBA port does have all 6 episodes, so I will press forward.

I don't find it boring, but I do understand why someone would (there's a lot of sameness every level).
I'm definitely NOT making it through this game within the month though.
Wolf3D is a game I'd like to play casually, every now and then; I think it's well suited for that.
If nothing else, I've definitely enjoyed discovering all the ports that are available. I didn't even know that there were so many fan hacks of the game (although, I shouldn't be surprised, considering how many there are for Doom and company).

Episode 4 I know was created after the original game was released, but it's been fiendishly designed. The first 3 floors feature lots of rooms and pushwalls, and more of those great white guards who can deal 40-50% of damage from 2 feet away... ain't this game great?
