I'm planning on soloing the whole game with my Witch Doctor (or at least on Normal mode) so I don't mind skipping the story bits too much. But damn I could've sworn I played a lot more than that last night... Regardless, I'd much rather play the game in co-op, so if you have similarly leveled characters feel free to add me: Sabrage#1941. Just make sure to specify who you are or I'll decline.

You can check what Act you're on by clicking "Select Quest" from the main menu.

I'll try to remember to add you when I get home.

I'm on now, just added you.

I really dislike that starting any character entails the exact same dead-easy slog on Normal mode. That's my biggest complaint with the game: it necessitates that early cannonball run through hordes of enemies that deal almost no damage every time you want to try a new character. I wouldn't mind the repetition if it was actually a challenge in any way. I'm sure it ramps up (I have had to use potions.... Twice...) but Act 1 is far too easy to be any fun outside of the glory of watching countless enemies explode.

Anyway to display gold on the main HUD? I get really OCD about checking that... lol.

Only being able to use a potion every 30 seconds adds to the challenge. But at the same time, I didn't ever have to do much special to get back my mana. Or in the Demon Hunter's case: "hatred" and "discipline".

It's pretty hilarious when my Demon Hunter says: "Not enough hatred" or "my hatred is too low".........................

Hope you're all playing the Demon Huntress. Her voice is awesome, heh. Love the awkward relationship between her and the Templar, although the 5 different conversations they have get a little old after awhile.

Shoot. I went to check the playtime on my friend's barbarian, since we started that co-op game together and my Wiz play counter seems really inaccurate... Apparently he kept playing overnight, more than doubled my level and now not only can I not verify the accuracy of the timer but I'm out a co-op partner too. His timer is at 8 hours now, so it's a complete crapshoot as to how long I was really playing.

Also: weren't some self-righteous whiners going to boycott this game? That worked real well.

Keep in mind that this is technically for a Xbox 360 controller. For Diablo III I am running MotionInJoy to provide drivers for the PS3 controller, and I have it set to be recognized as a Xbox 360 controller.

I could try to do another one without using MotionInJoy drivers and see if it is still possible.

So JoyToKey + Above CFG file + 360 Controller = Diablo III happiness? Am I doing that right?

Yea. Should work fine. Although you may or may want to adjust the analog stick settings. I'm not sure how differently the Xbox 360 analog stick will respond.

Cool gonna try before my next Diablo fix. I'll let you know how it goes.

Awesome. Let me know what you think.

I am going to make a few changes to mine soon. I want to swap inventory and skills. Seems like it wouldn't matter much, but those are the only ones where I often hit the opposite button

I may change potion to L2 as well. Because pressing in the right analog stick isn't ideal. So I may swap zoom and potion.

I am also thinking about lowering the analog sensitivity even further but upping the acceleration. May help when trying to target things that are close together.
