The picture just sums up the MPAA's statement so perfectly.Hobie-wan wrote:MPAA whines about the blackout tomorrow. Film at 11.

looks like the sites are still planning a blackout tomorrow. Here is a list of the sites participating tomorrow along with a video. THIS BILLS MUST DIE, also the politicians supporting them not being re-elected would be nice.

Craigslist has a black screen that talks about SOPA/PIPA for about 30 seconds then links to the main site. It's a start
And google shows this on the main page

This is great

English Wikipedia is dark.
Several of the YouTube channels I subscribe too have temporarily blocked all of their content.
I'm scared. What if it does pass despite the large amounts of opposition though?

My Craigslist isn't down yet, but it is 15 til. Presumably it will be off shortly. Boingboing has shut off for the day. CNN has a "Why Wikipedia went down at midnight" up as a top story.

Most sites, including mine, are going dark from 8am-8pm. That is the official strike time, but some are striking longer.YoshiEgg25 wrote:Reddit's blacking out at 8:00 AM EST.Icedawg wrote:228 am and reddit is still up... Time for IP to die the fiery death that it deserves. Unfortunately the internet has failed to topple the copyright moguls.
