I should be moving my gaming stuff into a different location in the apartment this weekend. Hopefully into an area where arcade stick play won't be as annoying to the wife and neighbors. If all goes well, look for me in XIII online more often.

I played online yesterday and had some decent matches and some matches where I got destroyed. I might upload replays if I can find a cheap way to record. It was nice to not sit in training mode and just practice combos waiting until my friends came over for once (who are only just beginning fighting games so I thrash them most of the time).

I'm not sure if Atlus patched the game yet like they said they would, but the online is decent at 4 bars. I can definitely feel the lag and it screws up my BnBs sometimes. People complain about the matchmaking but I never had trouble finding 3-4 bar connections.

Any 360 players here who would be interested in playing 9-12?

I dunno, there are times I get 3 or 4 bar matches that lag like no bars.. It's very inconsistent and at times you can't even trust the connection it's displaying... I think the patch will fix that..

I think PS3 is getting the patch today. I'm going to boot it up to see if I get an update tonight. I might actually have some time to play tomorrow night, too.

yup, according to Atlus it was patched today for PS3.

EDIT: Oh, and retail price is $40 pretty much everywhere now (for a limited time apparently?).

Sup kof fans, any way to play as just one character?
I dread making the second and third choices.
First I pick ryo and then, mkay his father too (why is he so fat? If time moved on, shouldn´t terry be in his Garou form?)
But the the third pick, dunno .....
I actually only want to play with one character and do not want to select 2nd and 3rd characters.
Which modes can I play with just one character?

I didn't realize King was such an easy character to use.. I can actually do her MAX HD combo consistently offline.. I'm amazed.. Although not that hard at all.. Then again I always train with Kula and I guess she is hard to use.. Her HD cancels require ridiculous speed at times..
