I am made of stone (and other minerals).

That being said, going back to the goat in Terranigma really knocked the wind out of my sails.
And the first ending to Wonder Project J (also on the Super Famicom) was a real heart-breaker.

Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.

Most likely, I'd like to say Half Life 2 (specifically episode 1 and 2). There were moments that made me feel such compassion for the Eli and Alyx and the situation the were in, I teared a bit.

That, and the beginning of Mass Effect 2.

I've never played Terranigma, but it takes guts to admit a goat made you cry.

One, rectify that ASAP.
Second, it was technically two goats. 8)

Grandia 2 totally sucked me in when I first played it too. Looking back at it years later, the story is kinda typical overall, but the characters have a charm that pulls you in. Its unrelated, but I love the music too.

It remains one of my favorite games.

The original game's story was a little bit better and the combat system was slightly better. I thought the characters were more charming too, but Grandia II is a great game. I just don't think it quite measured up to the first one. Both games features some of the best rpg combat I've ever seen though. I wonder how the other Grandia games are

I thought Grandia 2 was alright, and certainly worth my time, but it never really had many "wow" moments for me. I felt like it was playing through all the standard tropes. You know, all the stuff that you normally see in a JRPG; antisocial standoffish protagonist, church girl sidekick, quest to get the reallyreallyreally big sword of big swords, demonization of western religion, et cetra. That said, the battle system was engaging enough to get me through the game, although the final boss was a total pushover.

Yeah, I couldn't offer an opinion on the 1st one, because I've never played it.

I didn't cry, but I was depressed for hours after the "evil" ending of Infamous 2. ;-;

A certain scene at the end of Lilly's route in Katawa Shoujo had me very close to tears.

I see that it has been mentioned before, but I can't imagine that anyone with any emotion whatsoever was not at least on the edge of crying during the Christmas song in Elite Beat Agents.

I cried every time. It hits even closer if you have a daughter of your own.
