I really enjoyed Alan Wake and felt it was pretty different then Silent Hill. I like the way the narrative flowed and creepy moments weren't as outright shocking as Silent Hill.
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.
Alan Wake was definitely one of my favorites from last year. I'd say it plays a "little" more like Resident Evil 4 or so, but is a bit more down to Earth or just classy (as Stark said the creepy moments weren't over the top like some of Silent Hill's stuff)... I don't know how to describe it. But overall yeah, it was a great game and I recommend it. Totally pulled some influences from Twin Peaks.
I thought Alan Wake looked pretty cool. I just wish it was on Ps3 so I could try it out. I started to play THPS3 on Gamecube. Not as good as THPS2 but still awesome. I think i prefer the Playstation controller for TH games though.

I'm a big fan of the THPS games. 2 was my first actually, on Dreamcast. Then I went and bought 1 and 2 on PS1, and eventually 3 and 4 on GCN. Then eventually 3 and 4 on PS2 haha. I agree that the PS controller is better. But I must say I think 3 is my favorite of all four of them. I guess it's close, but there's something that just edges out 3 for me as the best. 2 is great though.

Yeah 3 is still really good. I think I just prefer 2 mainly because of nostalgia. Pro Skater 2 was my first Playstation game, and I only started 3 like a month ago. I have 1 for PS but I've yet to play it. I also have underground for ps2 but to me it's not as fun as the Pro Skater series.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3. I haven't played the second one, but this is a huge improvement over the first game. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Koei's Musou games are getting better and better. If anyone else has it I'm down for co-op.

Dude I heard this one AGAIN is dub only? Is that true? So stinky if true, but it does look awesome anyways.

What system?
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
another PS1 import re-released on PSN. Again, I love that for $6 I just got a cool ass 2D platformer that I can play on PS3 orPSP. Right now I'm stuck in the bedroom (only room with AC) so this comes in handy! Looks like Guardian Legends, but plays more like a beat-em-up (cut-em-up? It's swords?)
